SOLO INDYCAR races to winner's circle

June 22, 2025

The newly unveiled SOLO INDYCAR took the checkered flag as driver Alex Palou continued his winning ways at the Xpel Grand Prix at Road America in Wisconsin.

SOLO joined Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) as the primary partner for the race on the No. 10 Honda driven by Palou, reigning and three-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion and 2025 Indianapolis 500 winner.

“We were thrilled to accept this exciting offer to partner with CGR and showcase our iconic red SOLO cup,” said General Manager/SVP Consumer Products Kim Healy. “CGR embodies the inclusive, approachable fun that SOLO products help create at gatherings, from backyard BBQs to Race America’s entertaining grounds. And since both organizations share the honor of having extremely loyal fans, SOLO was excited to lend our signature red color and cup to the No. 10 Honda driven by Alex Palou.”

The No. 10 car proudly featured the unmistakable red SOLO cup prominently on both the front and rear wings.

With his win in the SOLO car, Palou is the back-to-back INDYCAR SERIES champion and winner of six of the first eight races in 2025. He continued his and the No. 10 team’s winning ways at the legendary Wisconsin road course — a fitting place to celebrate their success with SOLO’s Original Sign of Good Times!’

“SOLO is an iconic brand that represents fun, connection, and unforgettable moments – values that align perfectly with Chip Ganassi Racing and the spirit of racing,” said Chip Ganassi, Owner, Chip Ganassi Racing. “We’re proud to bring their red cup into the fast lane and create new memories together on and off the track.”

Palou and CGR participated in SOLO fun by engaging fans with our iconic cup and brand throughout the Road America race weekend. Palou and the CGR team also competed in a “SOLO-lympics” at the team’s Indianapolis INDYCAR shop, playing a variety of games with SOLO cups.

Check out CGR’s website for more information and their social media channels to see the fun – and raise your red SOLO cup to cheer the No. 10 car’s victory!
