WAXAHACHIE, TX

Our Waxahachie manufacturing site has been part of this small-town community since 1973, employing about 900 people in a 1.5-million-square-foot facility.

Just outside the Dallas metroplex, Waxahachie grew on the banks of Waxahachie Creek with the famed Shawnee cattle trail once running through what is now the town’s historic downtown district. Later, the cotton industry fueled much of the city’s growth and residential development in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Every year, city streets are lined with hundreds of beautiful pink crape myrtles in full bloom. As a result, the state legislature designated Waxahachie as the “Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas” in 1997 and the city hosts a Crape Myrtle Festival each July.

Fun fact: Waxahachie was home to one of Texas’ first textile mills.
