Mason DCAT zeroes in on river trash

We’re thankful to the caring and dedicated employees who participate in our Dart Community Action Team activities! Recently, more than 60 DCAT volunteers (along with friends and families) from our Mason, MI, facilities spent a Saturday cleaning up the Grand River in nearby Lansing.

Dart volunteers combined for 127 hours of service and picked up an estimated 250 pounds of trash! The Grand River cleanup was part of an effort to clean up several parks and waterways sponsored by Michigan Waterway Stewards, Potter Park Zoo, Lansing Parks and Recreation, and the Lansing Lugnuts minor league baseball team.
